Sorry for the art hiatus. I had really wanted to do more digital art over the past few months, but it wasn't in the cards with all the classes I'm taking this semester. My #
ArtXChange piece is due tomorrow, and the good news is that I already have a thumb sketch and color palette for it and should finally have time to finish it over the rest of today and tomorrow. I also got an artist who is far better technically than I am as my chosen, so I can't guarantee that "it will be worth the wait", but I will put several hours into it and try to apply everything I know about lighting and composition so as to not be completely disappointing.
EDIT:
[link]I really don't come to dA too much anymore, though I would like to--part of it is that I'm not sure I like my username anymore. The Dysfunctional Dragons are kind of an immature idea I had as a teenager, and I'm wondering if they, as characters, may be offensive to those with legitimate mental disabilities. In either case, "Dysfunctional Dragons" isn't a project I'm working on right now and hasn't seriously been in years, so keeping them as my "namesake" isn't working out. There may, in fact, be non-problematic ways to write such characters, but I don't know if I can pull it off (I feel that my talents as a writer tend more towards science fiction and deep world building than towards comedy. Comedy is HARD). So that's something to think about.
